All destinations have specific requirements which are subject to change at any time. We have listed some of the more common destinations and the forms that may be needed. ✈️ International Travel: STEP Program

STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) is a free service by the U.S. Department of State:

  • Receive safety updates from U.S. Embassies
  • Enable emergency contact and support
  • Help family reach you in emergencies

🌐 IATA Travel Center

IATA’s Timatic map helps identify country-specific travel requirements. The Timatic interactive world map is designed to guide you through the process of identifying requirements to travel.

European Union

  • PLF: Passenger Locator Forms for contact tracing
    • In case travelers are exposed to an infectious disease during their travel by airplane or aircraft, ship (cruise/ferry), rail, bus or automobile.
    • PFL form *Use suspended in 2022
  • EES: Entry/Exit System for non-EU nationals (starts Oct. 2025)
  • ETIAS: Visa-exempt travel authorization (starts 6 months after EES)

Jamaica

PLFs required for all travelers. Used for contact tracing.

Aruba

  • Complete online ED Card (it is not a visa)
  • Pay $20 USD (valid for 1 year)
  • Entry assessed on arrival
    • The form does not guarantee entry.

Dominican Republic

All passengers must complete the free electronic entry/exit form.

Mexico

  • FMM: Immigration Entry Form (waived for Cancun)
  • Customs: 1 laptop, 3 phones, 2 cameras, 1 GPS, 4 fishing poles
  • Excess fees: 19%–200% for extra electronics
  • Departure Tax: Required for Quintana Roo (age 15+)
  • ALL International Visitors flying to Cancun Airport may complete part of their Entry Process prior to their arrival to Cancun Airport.
